Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, born in 1958 in Lajatico, Tuscany, is the best-selling classical crossover artist in history, blending operatic technique with popular ballads. His 1996 hit 'Con te partirò / Time to Say Goodbye' made him a global superstar, and he continues to perform and record internationally, often alongside his son Matteo.
